Counseling Connection
  • Indiana’s 21st Century Scholars Program offers income-eligible Hoosier students up to four years of paid tuition at an eligible Indiana college or university after they graduate from high school. Scholars who enroll are connected to programs and resources to help them plan, prepare, and pay for college. 7th and 8th grade Indiana students whose families meet income eligibility guidelines must apply to become a 21st Century Scholar by June 30 of the student’s 8th grade year.  You can apply online at www.Scholars.IN.gov .  Please see the attached Online Application Worksheet for more information.  You may also contact the school counselor for additional information.

  • Self-harm or self-injury is on the rise among teenagers across the country. Non-suicidal self-injury, often simply called self-injury, is the act of deliberately harming the surface of your own body, such as cutting or burning yourself. This type of self-injury is an unhealthy way to cope with emotional pain, intense anger and frustration.  If you would like to report someone who is self-harming please notify one of the school counselors.  Below you will find the link to a Self-Injury Guide for Parents & Caregivers from Self-injury Outreach & Support website.
