GCJHS had huge success at the Band Solo and Ensemble Competition this weekend! We earned 55 Gold Ratings and 11 Silver Ratings!! We are so proud of our students for their hard work!
Fannie May Fundraising is in the second week! Please make sure we receive all order forms and payments this Friday!
Thanks to a grant from Lilly Endowment and a grant from Hancock County Community Foundation, for every dollar you donate to Greenfield Central School Foundation up to $5000, the Community Foundation will match it with $1.50. With your help, our School Foundation will receive $12,500…$7,500 for their endowment and $5,000 for the programs and projects of today. All of these funds will be distributed to teachers in our school district to help with classroom needs and activities. Hurry, this opportunity is only available until 11:59 pm Saturday, Feb. 28. Thursday this week, we will participate in the state-wide ISTEP Load Test. This test will last an hour and will help the Indiana Department of Education determine if they are ready for the online testing later this spring.
February 19-20, students will participate in the ISTEP+ Practice Test. This will be a paper and pencil test designed to help orient students to the new style of testing. This will include multiple correct answers as well as more in-depth questions that will require more time for each one. Encourage your child to make the most of this practice time!
We will have our book fair in the library during school, February 17-20. Students can come into the library beginning at 8:00 every day.
