1. Friday<\/span><\/span> is School Pictures Day.\u00a0 Students who are in Physical Education classes will take their pictures at the start of class.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
2. Sports pictures are also on Friday<\/span><\/span>, after school.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
3. The GCJHS PTO will meet the first\u00a0Wednesday<\/span><\/span>\u00a0of the month at\u00a06pm<\/span><\/span>\u00a0in the school cafeteria. The next meeting is\u00a0Wednesday, September 2nd at 6pm<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 All GCJHS parents and guardians are invited to attend.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
4.\u00a0 At the end of this week, we will be distributing the school-wide fundraiser.\u00a0 On Thursday, September 24<\/span><\/span>, our student body will participate in a walk-a-thon, where students will commit to walk for 1 hour (on the GCJHS campus) in exchange for a donation from friends and family.\u00a0 Money raised supports Riley Children’s Hospital, student activities, rewards and incentives, field trips, and Benevolence funds. \u00a0 If each student raises at least $7, this will be our only school-wide fundraiser this year!\u00a0 Staff will collect donation envelopes with cash and\/or checks (made out to GCJHS) at lunch September 16-18<\/span><\/span>. \u00a0<\/span>All donations should be turned in by September 1<\/div>\n
