  1. We had GCJHS students performed in 64 events at the Solo and Ensemble contest this weekend earning 50 Gold <\/b>Ratings and 13 Silver <\/b>ratings! Congratulations!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. Congratulations to the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams who won the Greensburg tournament last night. We will host the Hancock County tournament this weekend.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. The Builders Club is selling t-shirts to support the American Heart Association. Shirts are $10.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. The PTO will meet this Wednesday, February 3, at 6 PM<\/span> in the cafeteria.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            \n
          1. We are excited for the science fair tomorrow afternoon! Judging will take place after school until 4:30<\/span>. Doors will open to parents at 4:30<\/span> and awards will be presented at 5:00<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Weekly Reminders:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            1. The GCJHS PTO will have the following two volunteer positions available for the 2016\/17 school year.\u00a0 The position will begin in May.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              The\u00a0President<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0shall serve as leader and key contact for the PTO; preside at all PTO meetings; ex-officio member of most committees; appoint chairpersons for special committees; coordinate the work of the officers and committees so that the PTO\u2019s objectives can be met.<\/p>\n

              The\u00a0Vice President<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0shall act as an aide to the President; perform the duties of the President in the absence or inability of that officer to serve;\u00a0assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Board; coordinate the general activities of any Special Committees created by the Executive Board.<\/p>\n
