1. \u00a0Students interested in participating in the talent show are encouraged to pick up an application in the Student Services Office. \u00a0Applications are due May 18<\/span><\/span> and auditions are after school on May 19<\/span><\/span>.<\/div>\n
2. The Choir Celebration Concert is Tuesday, May 9<\/span><\/span>, at 7pm<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
3. The Percussion Concert will be at GCHS on May 11<\/span><\/span>.<\/div>\n
The Parade of Bands will be at GCHS on May 16<\/span><\/span>.<\/div>\n

Attention 8th grade parents:<\/strong><\/div>\n
1. \u00a0The trip to Washington, D.C. is just 3 days away! \u00a0If you have any last minute questions, email Mrs. Greene. bgreene@gcsc.k12.in.us<\/a><\/div>\n
Students riding even numbered busses should arrive at 5:50pm<\/span><\/span>, and those riding odd numbered busses should arrive at 6:00pm<\/span><\/span> \u00a0Please note that students should be dropped off at the front doors. \u00a0Only travelers will be allowed in the classroom staging areas. \u00a0The busses will leave at 6:30pm<\/span><\/span>.<\/div>\n

2. \u00a0All 8th grade students are encouraged to attend their awards program in the evening of May 25th<\/span><\/span>, even if they are not going to receive an award.<\/div>\n
3. \u00a08th Grade Dance tickets will be available for sale for $12. \u00a0Only GCJHS 8th graders are permitted to attend the dance.<\/div>\n

Please remember to check your child\u2019s lunch account regularly. \u00a0The cashiers remind students when accounts are getting low. \u00a0You can log in to https:\/\/www.ezschoolpay.com\/Login.aspx<\/a> to manage lunch accounts and set a notification for low balances. \u00a0\u00a0Students can also make deposits into their accounts with cash or checks in the lunch line.<\/div>\n
4. Students will be permitted to come into the building beginning at 8:20 a.m.<\/span><\/span> each morning. FOCUS (homework help) is available every day, starting at 7:30a.m.<\/span><\/span> in room B151<\/div>\n
