News<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Change your clocks Saturday night. Remember to \u201cSpring Ahead\u201d this weekend.  
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.  8th grade parents: If you haven\u2019t scheduled an appointment with your child\u2019s high school counselor, you can call our office and we can help schedule you.  
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. We started a \u201cNo Phones Friday\u201d program last week.  We encourage students to put away their phones at lunch and talk with their friends.  Each Friday, we will give students a topic to discuss. Last week, we asked, \u201cWill things be better in 100 years?\u201d
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DC information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parents who have signed up to chaperone 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C<\/strong>., need to complete the paperwork for the free G-C criminal background check.  Here is a link<\/a> to the application.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last payment is due March 15.  If anyone is unable to pay for the trip, we will begin working through the remainder of the waitlist.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember that travelers will need a soft-sided bag (duffle or backpack) for their luggage so that we can fit everything into the carry-on bins.  Suitcases (even the carry-on size) will likely be checked and slow the group down considerably.
