We will send that information out later this week.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>The 8th grade culminating event on Friday, May 28, will feature a hypnotist show. See attached flyer for more information. $10 tickets must be purchased in advance by Wednesday.&nbsp;<\/li><li>All students must turn in the ipad, keyboard, and an ipad charger at the end of the school year. If you have lost or damaged your charger, please purchase a replacement from a local store. It must be a 12 watt ipad charger.<\/li><li>Our end-of-the-year awards will be virtual this spring. Teachers are recording short videos and we will make them available on our web page at the end of the month.&nbsp;<\/li><li>2020-2021 Yearbooks are available for sale at this<a href=\"https:\/\/yearbookforever.com\/schools\/greenfield_junior_high_school_buy_yearbook_2716\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> link.<\/a><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Virtual School Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Device Collection- Virtual Students will have a drive-thru drop off May 25th, 4-6pm at the bus-rider entrance (Door 9) Students will need to turn off their passcode to the ipad and sign out of their Apple ID on the device prior to drop off.<\/strong><\/li><li>If you are having technology trouble, email our tech team at <a href=\"mailto:support@gcsc.k12.in.us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">support@gcsc.k12.in.us<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><li>All students should be logged into Google classroom every day.&nbsp; We ask parents to check Powerschool and help to encourage your child to log in to Google Classroom daily, and complete all assigned work. Powerschool may not have an accurate schedule. Other options might include:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Math tutoring after school each Tuesday and Thursday, 3:30pm-4:30pm.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Please reach out to your school counselor for a copy of the corporation tutoring list.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology\u2019s Ask Rose tutoring services 7pm.-10pm, Sunday through Thursday 1-877-275-7673 or<a href=\"https:\/\/askrose.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> AskRose.org<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Indiana Retired Teachers Association, 1pm.-5pm., Tuesday through Thursday 1-877-457-8839<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COVID-19 Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your child is home sick or is a close contact, we have asked teachers to continue to have their live classes in google meet, when possible.&nbsp; Make sure your child logs in from home for each class, according to their schedule. Some classes may just have simple instructions for the assignment, while others may be live for the whole period.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please remind your child the importance of washing hands and wearing a mask over his\/her mouth and nose while at school.&nbsp; We want to keep everyone safe and healthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If someone in your home is waiting for COVID test results, call our office and keep your child home until the results come back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The COVID-19 Screening for Parents provided by the Indiana State Department of Health lists the following symptoms that will result in a student being sent home, or signal for a parent to keep a student home:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Temperature of 100 or chills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sore throat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Runny nose<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Congestion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cough or shortness of breath (especially new onset, uncontrolled cough)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Headache (particularly new onset of severe headache, especially with fever)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New loss of taste or smell<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This list does not include all possible symptoms. A GC nurse will be in contact with you as soon as possible following notification.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a child who is quarantined (either as a close contact or someone who had the virus), please make sure they are engaging in their classes while they are gone.
