Veteran’s Day Program

Greenfield Central Junior High School will host its annual Veterans Day Program this Friday, November 11th at 9:30 AM.  Students are asked to invite their friends and relatives who are Veterans, to join us for this special program.  This student led program includes some patriotic readings and speeches and songs by the choir, the band and our strings group!

The doors open to guests at 8:45 and there will be a brief donut , muffin, and coffee reception in the schools cafeteria prior to the 9:30 program time.
Students are asked to register their guests by Thursday, November 10th using the following link.  Those students may also join their invited veteran and guests at the pre-program reception.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

*Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for October 27 and November 3.

Science: Clover Cookie Factory Workshop

Do your kids like to mess around in the kitchen?  Does he/she like to cook or bake but maybe everything doesn’t always turn out as planned?  Does he/she often wonder why things work?  If so, sign up now for Cooking Up Science: The Clover Cookie Factory!  This workshop will be broken into two 3 hour sessions and will be on Saturday, September 10 and Saturday, September 24, 9 to noon.

During this 6 hour workshop, youth will get a chance to examine some cookie “flops”.  Participants will try to answer what went wrong at the cookie factory by discovering how different ingredients work through fun and exciting hands-on experiments.
