Principal’s Update 9/24/2018

  1. Please RSVP for the eLearning day.  The buses will not stop unless we know you are coming to school. There are still over 300 who have not responded.  We want to have a count of students who are staying home and coming to school that day. The RSVP link is available on the PowerSchool parent portal.

  2. The GCJHS staff will receive school safety training from local law enforcement on the afternoon of our eLearning Day.  Teachers will have office hours for emails or phone calls in the morning.

  3. College Go! Week is a statewide campaign to help students at every grade level to plan their path to further education after high school.  College Go! Week is this week- September 24-28. 1. Yankee Candle catalogs are due back September 28.  Catalog orders will be delivered to school and distributed to students before Thanksgiving.  Online orders are shipped directly to the person (they will pay shipping.) Students will earn 40% of sales toward their DC trip.

  2. Help us win a $1000 from Old National.  Vote for GCJHS once a day, this week only.

  3. Join us at Applebee’s on Wednesday night for GCJHS night.  The school will receive a portion of the proceeds. Bring in the attached flyer or show the digital version attached.
