Newsletter – January 19, 2015

1. Today is a weather make-up day. We are in session!

2. Attached is a parent letter about the new ISTEP+ test from the Indiana Department of Education.

3. As you may have heard, the ISTEP “Load Test” to see if the testing company could handle the traffic from all Indiana schools did not go well. The system crashed or stalled for almost all students who were a part of the test. The Department of Education has scheduled a new “Load Test” for February 12.

4. Yearbooks are on sale both online and at school. There is a link on our school website to order one or your student can bring in $27.00 to Student Services.

5. Please be careful in the parking lot during drop off and pick up. Students should enter and exit cars at the curb only. The left lane is for moving traffic and not for drop off. If your vehicle is going to be parked for more than a few moments, consider parking in the lot to wait for your child.
