  1. Congratulations to choir members to participated in the solo ensemble contest on Friday. There were 49 performances that earned a gold rating!
  1. Attention 8th grade families: On February 22, while visiting End Zone in the High School Cafe, be sure to stop by the Library and view project proposals from the EDD students. The is a great opportunity to see the PLTW program in action!
  1. Friday, February 12, the GCJHS student council is hosting Zombie Fest 16, from 3:30pm-5:30pm.  There will be a Valentine Dance and Zombie Hunters Game (Similar to capture the flag) Students should create teams of 5 for the game. The cost is $3 per person in advance or $4 per person after the deadline of Friday at lunch.  The admission gets students into the game and the dance.
  1. There is a call out meeting for 8th grade boys interested in playing baseball and their parents, tonight at 6:00pmin the cafeteria.
  1. GYBA 2016 Spring Season Registrations have began.  You can Register online at www.greenfieldyouthbaseball.comor Saturdays in February 9:00 to 12:00 at Concession Stand.

Weekly Reminders:

  1. The GCJHS PTO will have the following two volunteer positions available for the 2016/17 school year.  The position will begin in May.

The President shall serve as leader and key contact for the PTO; preside at all PTO meetings; ex-officio member of most committees; appoint chairpersons for special committees; coordinate the work of the officers and committees so that the PTO’s objectives can be met.

The Vice President shall act as an aide to the President; perform the duties of the President in the absence or inability of that officer to serve; assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Board; coordinate the general activities of any Special Committees created by the Executive Board.
