KidsPlay to Present “Paranormal High School”

GREENFIELD, IN—KidsPlay, Inc. children’s theatre will present its fall production of Paranormal High School by Andrew Ross at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 8 at the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts at 122 W. Main St., Greenfield.

The play centers on a drama class at Bram Stoker High School, home of the Fighting Tarantulas, who decide to put on a performance of Macbeth. As they begin rehearsals, they are at first skeptical about the curse of the Scottish play, but strange things start happening in the theater thanks to the ghosts of two actors from the 1920s. Paranormal investigators, eager for a “real” story, show up to document the ghostly hijinks in hopes of saving their television show from getting the ax! Meanwhile, unaware of the haunted happenings, Principal Wolf is counting on the drama program to help Bram-Stoker High win a coveted education award. Paranormal High School is full of spooky humor with a healthy dose of Shakespeare thrown in and fun for all ages.

Tickets are available at the door for $5. The box office opens an hour before show time. Visit KidsPlay, Inc. children’s theatre on Facebook or call 317-477-2787 for more information.
