2. Governor Holcomb released a plan for reopening the state last week, but also clarified that schools are closed through June 30. We are still trying to figure out how we can arrange for students to clean out their lockers, pick up yearbooks, etc. As soon as we have a safe plan in place, I will send something out to you.
3. This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. We would love it if you sent an email to some of your child’s teachers and let them know you appreciate them. If you have a great story to tell about a teacher going above and beyond, send it to [email protected]
4. Parents of 7th Graders: This is the week to make your related arts choices! In 8th grade, students are able to choose related arts classes that they liked best and take the advanced course for a semester. All 8th graders will take health for a semester and Preparing for College and Careers for a semester. Students will receive high school credit for Preparing for College and Careers. 7th-grade social studies teachers will push out a link to rank their top choices for next year. Here is a link to brief descriptions of each related arts course.
